CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Entry to the event is by means of the online electronic booking system, using our secure online payment process, which will be operational from Wednesday on 1st February. Entries will ONLY be accepted from players who are affiliated members of an approved club. 

To book a tee time online, you will have to enter your credit or debit card details, using our secure online payment process.

The entry fee for visitors is £17.00 and for members £9.00 which must be paid as part of the electronic booking process. 

Entrants may withdraw from the event and receive a full refund up to 30th June.  Withdrawals after that date will be considered for a refund on their merits and may depend on whether their allocated tee time is taken up by other late entrants. If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the Course being closed, e.g., due to bad weather, your booking will be re-scheduled, failing which, we shall make a full refund of monies paid. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days.

ENTRY INFORMATION

The handicap Index limit for entry is 28.0 and players with an HI higher than this will still be eligible to play but using the maximum stated HI. Dates of birth, CDH numbers and contact details are essential.  

PRIZES

Prizes in the form of Scottish Golf vouchers will be awarded as follows:- Overall winner £120.00,  Scratch prize for each age category £90.00. Age categories Section A, 55-63, Section B, 64-69, Section C 70+: winners £90.00, second, £70.00, third £50.00.

Each player is entitled to one Main Prize only but excludes any nearest pins, long drives and 2s. 

The entry fee is inclusive of entry to 2s.

BUGGIES

Any player requiring to use a buggy for medical reasons must declare this on the entry form and as a minimum must be a Blue Badge holder or provide a medical certificate declaring use of a buggy essential to them taking part.  Use of a buggy is for a single player only and may not be shared by others which includes the carrying of clubs and equipment.  WGC has 3 buggies which are available to hire on a first come first served basis and are bookable through the Professional’s Shop.  Further details regarding eligibility are available from the Club Manager.
