CONDITIONS FOR ENTRY

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION POLICY

Entry to the event is by means of the online electronic booking system, or by contacting the competition organiser. Fees can be paid by credit or debit card if booking through the online booking system. If booked through the organiser we will require payment by bank transfer. Please note your tee time is not confirmed until payment is received. 

Individual entrants will be paired with others to make up a fourball. 

The entry fee for members and visitors is £160.00 per team which must be paid as part of the electronic booking process. 

Entrants may withdraw from the event and receive a full refund up to 2nd August.  Withdrawals after that date will be considered for a refund on their merits and may depend on whether their allocated tee time is taken up by other late entrants. If you are unable to play your round of golf due to the Course being closed, e.g., due to bad weather, your booking will be re-scheduled, failing which, we shall make a full refund of monies paid. Please note that refunds can take up to 10 working days.

ENTRY INFORMATION

Played as a stableford for teams of 4, Female, Male or Mixed.

Handicap limit is 36 for Gents and 42 for Ladies.

The handicap Index limit for entry is 36 for Gents and 42 for ladies and players with an HI higher than this will still be eligible to play but using the maximum stated HI.  

BUGGIES

Any player requiring to use a buggy for medical reasons must declare this on the entry form and as a minimum must be a Blue Badge holder or provide a medical certificate declaring use of a buggy essential to them taking part.  Use of a buggy is for a single player only and may not be shared by others which includes the carrying of clubs and equipment.  WGC has 3 buggies which are available to hire on a first come first served basis and are bookable through the Professional’s Shop.  Further details regarding eligibility are available from the Club Manager.
